Don’t Turn Your Precious Health Over to the Lowest Bidder!
(Case in point: Once-a-day type vitamins)Each day you must provide your cells with the essential nutrients they need in order to function properly and to repair the damage caused by the daily onslaught of free radicals.

So how do you provide your cells with optimal protection?

If you think you’re getting the protection you need from the typical once-a-day or A to Z type vitamins—think again. These typical hard tablet vitamins were studied by The Centers for Disease Control and the results were very disappointing. One million patients were studied over a seven-year period and they showed no reduction in death rates from heart disease and stroke.

One quick comparison is all it takes — nutrient forms & levels are critical

The dosage or level of each nutrient is just as important. Know the difference between micrograms (1000 mcg = 1 mg) and milligrams (mg). Many companies will list a nutrient but the level is far below what is needed to provide benefit or protection. The worst offenders of this are once-a-day type vitamins, colloidal minerals, aloe vera and algae type products. For example, if your daily supplement does not contain a full 500 mg of calcium citrate and 700 IU of Vitamin D, you’re not getting the levels and forms proven to significantly protect bone mass and reduce fractures by over 50%.
Another important point: look very closely at the label, because in the case of calcium, the label may say: Calcium (carbonate, citrate). Beware, because there could be 99% of the less effective carbonate form and just 1% of the more powerful citrate form (up to 11 times more bioavailable). Finally, if the nutrient is listed in a base or has no level listed, consider it to be virtually of zero value!
